Autel EVO II Pro 6K vs 8K

Autel EVO II Pro 6K vs 8K

Introducing the Autel EVO II Pro 6K and 8K

To say there are a lot of quality drones in the market would be an understatement. In the past few years, more pilots than ever before are exploring the skies and the tech has risen to meet that demand.

No longer is a drone just used as something to just fly around - it is now an artificially intelligent being that flies higher than a skyscraper, fly almost as fast as a cheetah, and takes pictures and video that rivals Oscar-winning cinematographers.

Now there’s a new drone that takes it even further - the Autel EVO II Pro 6K and 8K. These two variants of the newest Autel drone are both an exciting breath of fresh air. If you're not sure which one to get, let’s dive in and see the differences.

What is the Autel Evo II?

The Autel EVO II isn’t just your ordinary drone - it’s your partner as you explore new heights. This drone definitely caught our attention!

Dronezon calls the Autel EVO II “...an absolute tremendous feat of engineering, elegant design and new innovative technology from Autel Robotics.”

Both EVO II drones have a built-in 3.3-inch OLED screen in the controller.

Save your phone’s battery - that controller has a 7100mAh battery that gives you hours of power.

Flight time is up to 40 minutes at a time, or you can give Ludicrous Speed mode a try. The EVO II can also transmit HD footage from up to 5.6 miles away. Deploy your drone in seconds and start flying!

Even whizzing along in Ludicrous Mode, the EVO II is unphased by its own speed and can go higher and faster in the sky - yet get some of the most beautiful photos and videos at that dizzying bird’s eye view.

The level of control the Autel offers is addictive, especially when cruising at a top speed of 45mph, swerving around buildings and landscapes. It uses 12-sensor omnidirectional obstacle avoidance and AI to learn as you fly - the more you fly, the better it gets.

Speaking of better, this drone has Dynamic Track 2.0… aka “smart stalking.” Avoid any object using built-in Artificial Intelligence, or have it follow you autonomously, as you scale mountains or travel long distances.

What is the difference between the Autel EVO II Pro 6K and 8K?

Besides the price, there are a few important details that differentiate these amazing machines.

Autel partnered with Sony for the EVO II Pro 6K to give you a gimbal camera that can zoom and capture every shot with crystal clarity: up to 5472 x 3076 in video and up to 5472 x 3648 in still.

The 1” sensor detects obstacles and light, while the ISO ranges up to 6400 for video and up to 12,800 for photos. This camera, paired with Autel’s lightweight, foldable design means you can get stunning shots without packing up a giant bag of gear.

With the Autel EVO II 8K, the main standout is its camera compared to its small size. Once again partnering with Sony to provide the best camera experience, this drone comes with 8K video, 48-megapixel camera and in-flight zooming capabilities. Portable and a highly capable camera? Check.
