How do I contact you?
We only only offer email support, which you can access via our Contact Us page. We've found that we can answer emails more quickly and efficiently than phone calls, which allows us to process orders far more efficiently and get your drone to you as quickly as possible.
This also allows both the customer and us to have a written record of communications so that there are no misunderstandings in the future.
What are your hours of operation?
Our office hours are 7:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Mountain Time, Monday - Friday (excluding holidays).
Can I stop by your store and buy a drone?
Unfortunately, no. Like Wayfair, Hayneedle, Amazon and Jet.com, we are an online-only operation. This allows us to offer the lowest possible prices and widest product selection without the overhead of a typical brick and mortar retail store.
How do I change or cancel my order?
If you need to change or cancel your order, please do it as soon as possible. We get up very early in the morning, processing orders and forwarding them to the warehouse. Once we have done that, it is virtually impossible to stop an order in its tracks.
If you need to make any changes to your order, please do so immediately. We try to get orders processed and shipped as quickly as possible. Once an order's status has been marked as "Awaiting Shipment" it is too late to stop the order. It could be anywhere from already packaged to already on the truck when you receive an email with the "Awaiting Shipment" order status.
Things move fast in the warehouse because it is our goal to get orders out as quickly as possible. We may not receive tracking information until much later in the day, but a package could be anywhere from the label printing stage all the way to having already left on a truck and we are unable to stop the process anywhere in between. Any cancellations made after an order is marked as "Awaiting Tracking Number" will incur a 10% restocking fee.
Do you offer extended warranties or drone insurance?
Most definitely! Even the best drone pilots have accidents, so we know that protecting your drone investment is extremely important. We own drones, ourselves, have crashed our fair share of them and wouldn't consider purchasing a drone without getting a two year crash insurance/extended warranty!
Our drone insurance and extended warranty gives you the peace of mind, knowing that if something should happen to your drone, it is 100% covered. We'll have you up and flying again in no time!
It not only covers crashes and water damage - something the manufacturer does not cover - but it also covers any mechanical failures not covered by the manufacturer's warranty.
PLEASE NOTE: Drone insurance policies do not kick in until 31 days after your date of purchase. Any non-accident issues need to be addressed with the manufacturer directly during the first 30 days.

Can I purchase drone insurance after I have purchased my drone?
You can purchase our drone insurance any time before the delivery date. Because it could have already been flown and crashed, we cannot sell a drone insurance policy on or after the date of delivery.
How do I get a proof of purchase for a warranty claim?
If you need proof of purchase for a warranty claim or for any other reason, you can print out your order email if you still have it or Contact Us and we can send you a copy of the invoice for proof of purchase purposes.
Do I have to register my drone?
In order to legally fly any drone that is over .55 pounds (and less than 55 pounds), including any attached cameras or devices, the FAA requires you to register your drone. Only toy drones weigh less than that so in most cases you definitely need to register each drone that you intend on flying. Registering a drone is inexpensive ($5) and easy and can be done by clicking here.
Keep in mind that if you are using your drone to make money in any way, you are required to obtain a remote pilot certificate (also called a drone license). You are also required to get a drone license if you are racing drones in first person view (FPV) mode.

Do I need an FAA license?
If you make any money from operating your drone, whether that is selling photos or video (on or off-line) or using it to deliver goods, you are required by federal law to obtain a remote pilot certificate (also called a drone license). You are also required to get a drone license if you are racing drones in FPV (first person view) mode. Failure to do so can result in extremely hefty fines, starting at $1,100 per incident.

I'm having trouble with my drone. What should I do?
We are merely the retailer of the various drones on this website and do not offer any warranty or technical support. If you are having trouble with your drone, the first and best place to get help is from the manufacturer. They know their drones best and what can go wrong. Here are the support portals for the manufacturers we carry:
- DJI Drones
- Consumer Priority Service (CPS) (if you purchased their warranty/crash protection)
If you have purchased our drone warranty/crash protection and it is after 31 days of your purchase date, you can also contact CPS for assistance with any problem you are experiencing.
What should I do if my order is missing something?
If your order appears to be missing something, first check to see if there are multiple shipments in the tracking information we sent or if we have emailed you to say that one of your products will be shipping later.
If you are sure that everything should have been included in the package that we sent, check to make sure that the missing item is not mixed in with the packing materials or still in the box that you opened.
All drone and accessory packages come direct from the manufacturer in factory sealed packages. All items within a package are scanned and videotaped before boxes are shipped so that we have evidence of what was in each package before it is handed over to the shipping company.
Please Contact Us if you are missing something that you know you should have received and we can open up an investigation, including pulling the video footage. Allow two business days for us to complete our investigation. We will contact you after the investigation is complete.
When will I get my order?
All in-stock orders are shipped within 2 business days, Monday - Friday (excluding holidays). In the extremely rare event that it takes longer than that, we will contact you to let you know.
The amount of time that it takes to get to you depends on your proximity to the warehouse it was shipped from. Sometimes it can be just one day and in other cases, it can take a week from the shipping date for your package to arrive. During the Christmas holiday season, shipping can take even longer due to the glut of packages being delivered by FedEx and UPS.
Backorders: If you have ordered a backordered drone or accessory, the shipping date underneath the Pre-order button is only an estimate. We will continually update the information underneath each product's pre-order button as more accurate delivery information becomes available. You should continually check the product for the most up-to-date estimate for when it will ship.
PLEASE NOTE: If you are financing a drone, in rare circumstances an order may not ship immediately when their are inconsistencies in the address and contact information on the order and the finance company asks us to hold the order until further information is provided by the customer. The amount of time it takes to ship is entirely dependent upon how quickly the customer supplies that information to the finance company - something beyond our control.
Do you offer expedited shipping?
Naturally, most people are more than happy to accept our standard FREE SHIPPING and wait a few extra days to begin their flying adventures. We do offer expedited shipping; however, it cannot be selected when you place an order. If you want expedited shipping, please Contact Us and we can send a separate invoice for you to pay after receiving your initial order.
Be forewarned; expedited shipping is expensive and all arrangements for expedited shipping must be made before 3:00 p.m. MST, Mon - Thurs to ship out with our next day's orders or it will not ship until the following business day. Orders placed prior to shipping holidays (Thanksgiving, for instance) will not ship until the next business shipping day. The following rates apply for expedited shipping:
- 2 Day Express: $90
- Next Day Delivery (Mon-Thurs Only): $130
Please Note: We are not the shipping carrier and do not offer any guarantees on their delivery times. If you have paid for expedited delivery and do not receive your package in the number of days that you paid for, a case will have to be opened with the shipping company and any refunds that may be due to you will not be processed until we have been refunded the extra costs by the shipping company. There will be no refunds in the event that a customer misunderstands the date that their order would ship (i.e. an expedited order placed any time on Friday will not ship until Monday, assuming that Monday is not a shipping holiday).
Can I split my payment between two cards or between financing and a credit card?
Absolutely! Start off by purchasing a Gift Certificate in the dollar increment you want to put down. You will be sent a redemption code.
Next, navigate to the product(s) you want to purchase on our site, add them to your shopping cart and hit the Checkout button. In the top-right corner of the checkout page, you'll see a 'Discount' field. Enter your redemption code into this field, and click the 'Apply' button. This will apply the gift certificate amount towards the purchase and reduce the amount left to pay.
Complete the checkout process. If you're financing the remaining purchase price, make sure to select 'Klarna' as your payment method.
I have some credit remaining in my Klarna account. How do I use my remaining balance?
Using any or all of your remaining balance is easy. Check out our simple step-by-step guide – How to Use Your Remaining Klarna Credit.
Why was my credit application not approved?
Again, we have no involvement in the credit approval process. It is handled by Klarna®, an outside agency that specializes in consumer financing for retail purchases. If your credit is not approved, they are supposed to notify you within 24 hours and explain the reason. If you still have questions, you can contact Klarna directly by clicking Contact Klarna.
How much per month will my drone payment be?
In order to know your possible payment plans, please see if you prequalify with Bread. We offer financing plans over 12, 24, or 36 months at competitive interest rates.
After adding a product to your shopping cart, simply choose “Klarna”. From there, choose the payment option that suits you best.
I'm not sure which drone to buy. Can you help me decide?
We certainly can. We wrote a very extensive Drone Buyer's Guide that should answer practically any question you have about which drone to buy. If you are still unsure, you can always Contact Us.
Do you buy used drones?
Whether they are new or refurbished drones, all drones sold on this website come in boxes directly from the factory or if it is refurbished drone, a factory authorized repair center. We do not sell any used drones and, therefore, do not buy any pre-owned drones.
What is a refurbished drone?
The only refurbished drones that we sell are DJI-backed refurbished drones. In many cases, the drones are brand new and were sent back simply because of buyer's remorse. In other cases, they may be drones that had a bad battery or some other minor component error that was fixed.
DJI only refurbishes drones that were sent back within 10 days of purchase. They have never been crashed and do not have any scratches or scuffs on them.
All refurbished drones are thoroughly inspected and tested by the authorized repair center before being re-packaged and sold as refurbished drones at great discount prices. They even have the same full warranty that brand new drones do!
What warranty comes with my drone?
Different drones have different warranties. We include the warranty information on each drone or accessory on the Warranty tab on the individual product pages. We also detail each manufacturer's full refund policies on our Shipping, Returns & Warranties page. If a product does not have a warranty tab, there is no warranty offered on that product.
The drone I want is backordered. When will it be in stock?
To make things as easy as possible for our customers, we have provided an estimated shipping date underneath product's Pre-order button. These are estimates only and we will monitor and update the estimated shipping date if new estimated delivery information becomes available. In rare cases, items are simply listed as "SOLD OUT. This occurs when we simply do not have even a good guess about when they will be in stock again.
Please Note: Drones are usually backordered because they are extremely popular and the factory cannot keep up with the demand. If you know you want a drone and it is on backorder, it is an extremely good idea to place your order and wait until it ships. Backordered drones ship out on a first ordered, first shipped basis and we cannot guarantee that there will be any inventory left after all backorders are filled.
